PRELANDER TUTORIALS
When you log in to Modx you will see a long list of prelanders, you have different ways to do a search, but if you already have the url of the prelander you want to duplicate, simply copy all the text that follows the domain and paste it into the search engine major. Look how you can search and filter:
Here you can see how to create a prelander from scratch. In order to achieve you will need to have in hands the domain, one keyword for the prelander (usually related to the subject of the campaign), the language, its relative version and the template you want to use for it.
When you duplicate a prelander you should take into account the same data you usually use when creating from scratch. However, things like template, styles and (sometimes) content, will remain the same as the original prelander. You usually duplicate when you want to re-use something from another prelander.
Tags are a usefull way of ordering prelander. Tags work like categories, so that when we add tags to prelanders we are able to filter by tags and find a specific prelander or group of prelanders faster than usual.
Editing a prelander goes with many factors, as each prelander needs something different, each template contains different structure and, also, different content inputs. However, in general terms, editing a prelander means editing template variables.
Each template contains a group of variables that managers can edit in order to update content (text, images, videos, etc). So in order to edit a prelander we just need to update the template variables according to what we need to show in the prelander.
